Pregnancy
After 30
Fertility
and Older Eggs
A
pregnancy after age 35 may require
some special precautions, because
it can be riskier than childbearing
during the optimum years of ages 20
through 34. Some women are fertile
well into their 40’s. It’s
a matter of luck good genes and biology.
Eggs loose their viability with time.
Your opportunities may narrow with
age however it does not mean that
the opportunity is gone. If you are
over 40 you need not give up you may
need to adjust your expectations.
Many in their 40’s become pregnant
however it takes some time and often
a little help from reproductive medicine.
To
achieve a positive but realistic perspective
on statistical averages, don’t
lose sight of the inevitable ebb in
fertility is different for every woman.
Some women are biologically younger
that they age in years. Some women
will fall happily outside the curve
of statistical averages & beat
the fertility odds.
Many
women have beaten the fertility odds
and conceived healthy first babies
with their own forty-five-plus year
old eggs.
